Homeopathy - What is it? Part 3 (Teacher: Michael)

In consequence of attitude of homeopathic physician, he not only tries to make physical diagnosis of patient, just as does his allopathic colleague, but realises is not sufficient for purpose of treatment. He must diagnose patient as whole. He therefore goes on to find out what sort of man he is dealing with. Is he happier in hot or cold weather? Does he fear thunder? Does he prefer to be alone or in company? When ill, does he want to be made fuss of or to be left severely alone? It is through such reactions patient's personality becomes guide to homeopathic remedy. If these reactions have been altered in any way through patient's illness, they are particularly valuable as pointers to remedies.
