Therefore muscle relaxation exercises are important. following should be considered and followed with guidance:

• breath retraining - how to breathe deeply using all lung capacity;
• visualisation;
• gradual exposure to all situations which cause stress;
• understanding emotions, since strong emotions can trigger attack, for example, anger;
• encouragement to replace thoughts by rational ones, basically using positive psychology - same as I have mentioned in past regarding psychology in sports situation; and
• predicting setbacks while learning to avoid panic attacks.

It is usual for person to get attacks throughout improvement period. They decrease slowly as sufferers learn how to control themselves and situation.

Finally, most important point for sufferers of panic attacks is to ensure that family, friends, colleagues and management at work understand nature of this problem.

As soon as people show empathy afflicted person will begin to relax. They need understanding, care and patience. When they are met with ridicule, impatience and total lack of understanding situation will inevitably get worse.
