The Technolas 217 Excimer laser enables the doctor to perform what is known as custom ablation, which means that it can correct up to the minute defects found in each and every candidate's individual cornea.

The Hansatome is a very accurate micro mechanical instrument and is essential in helping the doctor prepare the area within the cornea that needs to be treated.

The Orbscan 11 (the one at the eye centre is just one out of 200 in the world) is a highly sophisticated diagnostics platform, which offers the surgeon the best planning tools for a procedure without any surprises.

This equipment maps the eye literally inside out, to ensure that the eye is suitable for surgery.

This scanner is also being used by ophthalmic consultants to unveil certain serious eye defects, which could not be assessed before the Orbscan's arrival.
