It is pity modesty so often prevents patient from getting advice at start of attack of cystitis.

The first remedy patient often takes is wrong. They dread passing of urine and so cut down their, fluid intake. makes matters worse. urine becomes more concentrated and more irritating to bladder.

The patient should take more fluid than bland drinks. Remember bladder and urethra are normally sterile - free from all germs.

The next step if one gets UTI ( technical name for urinary tract infection), is to take tremendous hygienic care.
