In the late 1890s the therapy rediscovered, becoming popular in the United States before arriving in England in the 1960s, under its present of "reflexology".

So what it actually ?
Reflexologists believe that every of the body is connected by energy pathways which end in reflex areas on the feet, and . By working over these areas in a systematic way the whole body is stimulated to achieve its natural of good health.

A trained reflexologist detect tiny deposits or imbalances in the feet which mirror congestion or tension in the body, and by applying controlled pressure to the points to relax tension and clear blockages. Although treated, it is usually more effective on the feet.
