Skin rashes a common cause for worry among young mothers. Yet they often nothing much to concerned about. One of the most common rashes is probably the ordinary heat rash. Although this usually occurs in warmer weather, it occur in the cold if a child is overdressed.

Heat rashes usually begin on the cheeks, shoulders, skin creases and bottom, and consist of tiny red spots. Blonde or red-headed children most likely to suffer.

The first thing to is cool the sufferer by sponging with tepid and removing some clothes. It is also useful to sprinkle a little powder onto the rash.

Nappy rashes very common too. They tend to red, rough and rather scaly. They're usually confined to the area covered by the nappy.

They generally produced by the contact between the urine and the skin, but sometimes caused by friction of skin against nappy.

Once a nappy rash developed, it helps expose the rash to the as much as possible. Most chemists stock creams which relieve the itchiness for the baby.
